Privacy Policy

This page covers the Digital Midges website. Our apps differ in what they need, so each one has its own policy rather than a single document that would be vague about all of them.
Who we are
Digital Midges LLC is a mobile app studio, and for the purposes of data protection law it is the data controller for the data described here and in each app policy. You can reach us any time at support@digitalmidges.com.
This website
Contact form
If you send us a message, the name, email address, subject and message you type are submitted through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which emails them to us. We use those details only to reply to you. The form includes a hidden field used to catch automated spam submissions.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability. We run no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies on this site, and we set no cookies of our own.
Who else is involved
For this website, only two providers, each processing data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
- Web3Forms, for delivering messages sent from the contact form
- Vercel, for website hosting
We do not sell personal data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. Each app lists its own providers on its own page.
How long we keep things
Messages you send us through the contact form are kept in our email for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short period for security and reliability. Retention for app data is covered on each app's own page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, take it elsewhere, or complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have comparable rights, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email support@digitalmidges.com. We do not charge for this and we do not make it difficult.
Security
Data sent between the app and any service travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but collecting as little as possible is the strongest protection we can offer, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an accident.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be stated here rather than made quietly.
